Take a fascinating look behind the scenes of a professional theatre. Tours available by reservation. Please give the Education Department a minimum of two weeks notice. Fee: $1 per person JOB SHADOWING Actors Theatre provides students interested in theatre careers a chance to shadow a theatre professional. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the theatre. Please contact the Education Department at Education@ActorsTheatre.org for more information. VOLUNTEER USHERING High school students act as volunteer ushers, one Wednesday or Saturday a month. The program helps students obtain their 30 Service Learning Project hours required for graduation. For more information contact Allison Hammons, Director of Volunteer and Audience Relations at AHammons@ActorsTheatre.org. Students must be at least 16 years old to apply. CAREERS IN THEATRE GUIDE This thorough guide designed to help students get started in the theatre business, provides an understanding of the skills and education necessary for a career in theatre. It also contains a directory of regional colleges and universities with theatre degrees and summer camp/program information. Available for a nominal fee |
